Power can be obtained in a job or business by building that business and gaining power in that industry. Another way to gain power is by being born into it, like a very high class family or maybe into a Hierarchical family. Another example could be military and how highly ranked your army is in the world. Obviously to understand power we need to know the definition, “The ability to do something or act in a particular way, especially as a faculty or quality.” Another example being, “ The capacity or ability to direct or influence the behavior of others or the course of events.” These definitions show completely why power is such a huge thing in today's society and how it is a thing that a lot of people look to obtain. Another way to obtain power is by working your way up to the top, most billionaires in today's society started in a garage. For example Mark Zuckerberg or Bill gates both started their hit businesses inside of their garage and created a huge business. Both of the people provide hundreds of thousands of jobs for people not only in the United States but around the world, for people to grow and obtain power themselves. People like this also inspire others to try and be like them and be themselves and use their imagination to come up with what may be the world’s next big website or invention.
